A new study available for download on Current Biology describes science behind best lights to affect sleep, mood and learning. In this study, researchers describe a recently discovered type of cell in primate retinas that has sensitivity to blue-light events most commonly associated with the twilight hours, and that may influence non-image-forming visual functions such as sleep, mood and learning.
